I realy don't know if this will help but it is all i can find with regards to the idler sprocket, i have no actual info regarding removing it from the shaft, i think the shaft a gear are splined, looking at 17 below it says it should slide, if it is stuck you may need a puller, it does state that the splined joint should be tight with no backlash or axial movement.16. Remove idler sprocket assembly bolt.17. Slide the idler sprocket assembly and crank sprocket forward simultaneously to remove the primary andsecondary chains.18. Remove both pivoting tensioner arms and chain guides.19.
